hey there

We've put together a few guidelines to help make your sauna experience as good as can be.

Please ask any questions before, during, or even after your session.

Some basic rules for sauna bathing

  • Do not eat heavy, stressful meals before going to the sauna, but also do not go to the sauna with an empty stomach.

  • In the case of chronic illness or pregnancy, the advice of your GP should be obtained beforehand.

  • A sauna session should only last as long as you feel comfortable doing so.

  • In order to positively support the detoxification of your body, you should give your body plenty of liquid before and after the sauna session.

What do and don’t I take with me to the sauna?

In your sauna bag you should have:

  • One towel: this is to use for drying off after your session.

  • A water bottle (no metal or glass bottles in the sauna).

  • Bathers.

  • Lots of smiles and positive vibes.

In the sauna you should not have:

  • Jewellery (it can get crazy hot).

  • Your phone (as it can overheat).

  • A lot of make up or perfume on.

  • Alcohol. (save it for later)

acknowledgement to country

We acknowledge and pay our respects to the traditional custodians of the land on which we gather, the Bunurong people. We recognize their continuing connection to country, culture, and community, and acknowledge the Elders past and present. We honour their enduring wisdom, custodianship of the land, and cultural heritage.

Always was, always will be!
